Music The Music Department provides opportunities for enjoyable activities and for self expression. It teaches students to understand and enjoy and even to create music. It adds to school spirit through its participation in athletic and social events. Maine West students who are interested in music may: take harmony, belong to any of the bands-Beginning, In- termediate, Cadet, or Concertg join orchestra-Be- ginning, Junior, or Concert: or be a member of a chorus group- Boys', Girls', Mixed, A Cappella Choir, or the Choraliers.
