peech Changes to Spiral Curriculum Twenty-four courses, equally divided between theatre, speech, and broadcasting were offered this year on a semester basis. This new program deviated from last year's curriculum, which was comprised of seven one-year courses. The spiral curriculum which builds from basic, introductory courses to more advanced ones, allows students to increase their knowledge and ability. The department also sponsored the fall play, Take Her Shels Mine, and the winter play, David and Lisa. Debate team, Individual Events team, stage crew, radio station WMTH-FM, and television studio WMTH-TV, are also sponsored by the Speech Department. wgsflsf' Above: Bonnie Brown and Leslie Goodman, two of the many serious drama students, look over a script together.
