Believing that every student is different, Mr. Begrowicz feels that there is no standard way to deal with a problem. Most of the problems stem from students cutting class, smoking, leaving campus or fighting. Unlike in the past though, students are now able to have their suspensions reviewed by a hearing officer. Because student unrest is gone, Mr. Begrowicz has noticed an improvement in behavior and comments that students are getting more serious. There was a personnel change in the Dean's Office this year also. Charlene Anzalone, formerly a P.E. instructor at East, replaced Agnes Brady as Dean of Girls.
