In fact, the time has arrived when the high schools of Pennsylvania and other nearby states are demanding the eollege degree for commercial teachers. More than SSW, of lJrexel's 1936 Vommereial Teacher graduates were placed before October lst, last year. g The increasing success of women executives in merchandising points the way to an ever-widening scope of opportunity in a field for which women are well fitted. ln the smallest shops and the largest department stores, women hnd that thorough training in merchandising leads to attraetiye and remunerative positions. Financial and Estate Managelnent. Matty girls who have no intention either tif teaching or entering business enter the Business Administration Course each year. They find in this course excellent preparation for the manage- ment of personal and family finances and the handling of estates. Collegiate and institutional secretarial positions offer a growing Held of opportunity for the girl with a college degree. The permanence of employment and satisfactory working eonditions in this field are particularly attractive fea- tures. Drexel graduates have found this one of their most valuable opportunities.
