They presented a grand commencement program hased on the life of Stephen Collins Foster with costumes of that era. The class, itself, is a large one, :md on Septemher I2 a group of enthusiastic freshmen appeared to take their places as the hahies ol the Nlagnolia family. Their first class meeting was held lor the purpose of arranging the election ol' class officials. The Magnolia High School lland is quite large and the Freshmen class supports approximately one-fifth of it. XVelcome was the basketball season lw' the Freshmen. Iloth teams tasted defeat in the tournament hut the hoys won a prize for llie hest dressed team. and Tucker walked oft' with the boys foul shot contest. So ends another season, hut iust watch this class in coming years. During the month of March the most important topic ot com ersation was the proposal of a student council. XVith the majority of the class it was most favorahle and its support is practically confirmed. W
