Underclassmen: Une Step Away FromGoodbye In the beginning it's just a school where you've been patterned into a world of twenty minute mods. Exactly when Madonna ceases to be only a school and becomes a vibrant part of you, no one truly remembers. New acquaintances become friends, friendship and unity become a feeling reflected by all. But classes change, days end, and soon a year has passed. In the light of Sophomore corridors, early mornings seem alittle bit brighter. Almost half finished but yet you've only just begun: to learn, to give, to share. Pin-cluttered uniforms, running enthusiasm, and never-ending school spirit are sure signs of a funior. But much more important are the memories which will always be with them.

Freshmen learn to harmonize well with their class as was proven during this past Christ- mas season when they sang for the aged and lonely. A Freshman has so much to build on since she has four years of time ahead of her: time to find a place at Madonna and to become so unified that she is concerned for each member of her class. She has time to get lost in time, to let dreams flour- ish and to begin all her memories. For her, days pass swiftly. Soon Freshmen will discover that today's folly will be tomorrow's reflection. Each one has so many roads to take, goals to reach and dreams to find. With the keys to answers right in her hands, she needs only to realize that answers are one-time in coming and if they are lost they often don't return. The blessing of time must work for them to its fullest in order for them to profit in the future.
