Tale iii The Life From s ' . is filled with reflect ' for the future. The ti, .n- corporate the memories o. ,acn student into a book that is botfij-historical and reminiscent. Starting off with a million different ideas and unquenchable ambi- tion, the editors are tested by all too short deadlines. lust as every bridge and building needs a blueprint, so does a yearbook require alay- out. With pica ruler and pencil in hand, the layout staff places each picture in its posi- tion antl decides the dimension for every- thing that will be written. A theme, a few creative ideas and a bottle of Excedrin are the copy staff's tools. From the many pictures of Madonna hap- penings, they try to write headlines and captions that will make each reader reflect. As long as the photography staff have their supply of flashcubes, nothing can stop them from taking their typically candid shots of Madonna. They supply the year- book with that added touch that distin- guishes it from any other. Without the Index and Directory staff the Madonna would be a yearbook with a blurred identity. When the many parts of the yearbook are coordinated, Madonna '71 should come into sharp focus for everyone to remember.
