Is it the miracle of the gift of talent thatproduces a Menu Lisa, a perfectly sting song, or a winning basketball team? No, not entirely, for Without that driving force called dedi- cation, talent is merely a dream. That is why the Art, Music and Physical Education departments have been established. 'I'he art room is Madcnnffs student gallery, the home of those striving to straighten out the rough edges of their own masterpieces. 'I'he music may be from a Broadway show, a rock opera or Beethovens 5th symphony, but the soul reaching effects are the same. Our emotions speak through music. When you hear the dribble of a basketball or the sound of a vvindsvvept birdie, then you can be sure that gym classes are in session. A Physical Education course yvon't make you a world famed athlete but it will make you feel good. As soon as you have a question or problem concerning school, where do you go? Naturally, you'd go to the office. The center of school life and affairs, Madonna's office buzzes from early morning hours till late afternoon. Your schedule, report card, and accurate records are the result of our hard working office staff. Their constant efforts never seem to cease. I Maybe you havejinoticed that every morning your home- room is swept clean, papers are picked up and the desks are dusted. Or that the halls seem to shine just as much as the windows do. Perhaps it's because the maintenance depart- ment is concerned about you being able to be proud of your school. They want you to learn and study among enjoyable and comfortable surroundings. Madonna's library is growing and improving everyday like its students. It aims to provide a quiet place for students to study and to obtain research material. Not quite as large as some, yet packed with modern equipment, our library has added projectors for independent study to its facilities.
