What Comes Around Goes Around A hat comes around goes around. Rolled pants with white socks, mini- skirts, and denim jack- ets were back in style while Guess and loose T-shirts stayed in. The hottest new things in style were the acid washed jeans. Everyone likes them because even when they ' re new they ' ve got the old, faded lived-in look, said senior J ' dee Gra- ver. Not everybody took to the new trends in clothing. Levi jeans and t-shirts was still a popular look. Scott Sutherland, Senior said I like my jeans and T-shirts be- cause they are com- fortable and I want to look normal. Fashion went be- yond clothes and into different accessories too. To Be A Standout Ten talented senior guys performed before a lively crowd, each hoping to be recognized by the judges as a standout. The most coveted and illustrious title a sen- ior guy could attain was on the line as ten of the most prime males took the stage seeking for the rights, privileges, and honors held by Mr. Madison. Contestants had the chance to show their stuff in four different categories. Each entrant took the lime- light when he displayed his talent, career wear, and evening wear. They shared the show when going through the physical fitness portion of the competition. The talents were enter- taining and spontaneous, and the guys weren ' t afraid to stand in front of their friends on stage, said Miss Madison Vanessa Lee. She also said they were dang fun to work with. Talents included a variety of tastes. Some of the more Quinn Calder captivated the audi- ence with his ukulele and harsh voice during the talent portion ot the competition. popular talents were sing- ing, lip-sinc, animal tricks, and balance acts. When all was said and done, the ham who had stole the show was Quinn Calder. His humor in talent, dress, and physical appearence played a great part in his winning the title. T guess what won it for me was the time I spent practicing and the help of others, said Quinn Calder. r. Madison
