Studentbody Officers The studentbody officers, although mostly seen in skits, riding floats, throwing candy, and sitting in cushioned chairs, were actually always hard at work making this year a very colorful Bobcat World. Planning meetings, scheduled weeks before school started, gave them a chance to get to know each other as well as get orga- nized for oncoming challenges. Homecoming, their first test, went off with a bang and gave them confidence to keep going. Assemblies, Bobcat Olympics, and MHS week were just a few more of the many spirit building activities head- ed by them. Senate meetings kept club and class presidents working close with the studentbody officers, keeping the students ' needs first priority. Being a Studentbody officer isn ' t all fun and games, but when the whole school becomes united it ' s all worth it. 14

The class of ' 81 is indeed the class that is standing tall. According to the seniors, they are the biggest, strongest, most handsome and beautiful, fastest, and by far the most intelligent class at the high school. They are determined not only to enjoy the benefits but to excel in all the responsibilities i iat being a senior entails.
