- CLASS HISTCDRY - With the beginning of the new school year of 1953, we started on a new and exciting journey. The high school routine was strange at first, and going to wrong classes was quite common during the first few days. The leaders of our first year at Madison were Jo Ann Zimmerman, President, Larry Kidwell, Vice- President, Nancy Meyer, Secretaryg and Richard Graszl, Treasurer. Miss Stout and Mr. Sutter were appointed to be our class advisors. Our first year's big event was the freshman box social given in the early spring. Our sophomore year was crowded with many events. We chose Jeanne Brown as President, Dale Garrison as Vice-President, Barbara Windsor as Secretary, and Ken Baker as Treasurer. Raising money for the prom was our main objective that year. September, 19551 At last we President, Jim Halbrooks, Vice-President, Bill Edwards, Secretary, and Bill Milliron, Treasurer. One of history was our Junior Class Play. Beauty and the Beef. We were very were upperclassmenl We were under the leadership of Donald Peterson, the brightest spots of our class busy that year raising money for the year's most exciting event, the J unior-Senior Prom. As Seniors we chose Donald Peterson, President, Dar1Tingley, Vice-President, Ray Maffett, Secretary, and Bill Milliron, Treasurer. The outstanding event in the fall of '56 was our class play, Funny Face. The production of the annual, the planning of our class trip, and finally GRADUATION climaxed our four wonder- ful years of working and planning. , J ,, iii- 2 .--q -az 1 ig :Baia -I ag: ..:f'ea:- a'-A - ' Ll-ft - ' .
