The 1963 Homecoming, the last one for the Class of '64, was a re- sounding success that will be hard to forget. Central, won first place in Originality for the Freshmen. Several Seniors work diligently to pre- pare the Royalty float, Eighteen Yel- low Roses, for the parade. Homecoming is eagerly an- ticipated each year by the students of Central. Two weeks before Home- coming Day, work is begun by each homeroom on floats for the parade. The night before Home- coming, the identity of the King and Queen is revealed. The coronation is followed Queen Susan Rentz and King Russell Johnson presided over the 1963 Homecoming of MHS.
