SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS The Senior Class of '61 has had a very busy year. Among their events and activi- ties were the selling of ribbons and but- tons for the games. A courtesy committee to contact sick students who have been away from school for a long period of time was also a very successful proiect. A few of the activities included a senior reception to acquaint new students with Madison's student government and the officers, Sen- ior Week, the Senior Prom, and gradua- tion exercises. Looking back over the year we can say it has really been a successful one. Karen Schott, secretary, historian, Dick Arm- strong, and treasurer, Lora Bower aid in the leadership of the senior class during the past year. Sitting left to right around the table are the senior class conduct officers: Keith McAllister, Brian Duffield, Tracy Smith, and Dennis Getch. These boys have helped to maintain order dur- ing senior class meetings. President John Leo and Vice President Bob Walker shake hands after a successful year in leading the Senior Class

FIRST FOUR YEAR COUNSELORS The class of '61 is the first to go through Madison in four years. The success of our stay here is somewhat accredited to the counselors, Miss Gwen Kohns and Mr. James Blake. They have helped in making important decisions for seniors in class programs as well as future plans. As members of the largest, and the first four-year graduating class, we, the seniors, show appreciation and extreme thanks to these two educators who have done so much for the class of '6l. 24
