Sdn: 'End 77444 'End epcde Thirty-eight boys composed the basketball squad for the '52-'53 sea- son. They practiced long and hard under the auspices of Lee Otto and Walter Botsch,but it was of no avail. Although the first team won but one game, they kept on trying. Coach Botsch and his reserve team walked away from the Fresh- man-Sophomore tournament, which was held in Battle Creek, with the first place trophy.
