President Athens Clay Pullias of David Lipscomb College invites you to Kmsidcr the Advantages af Zfazr-rvuml Ziizzcafivlr Graduates of Christian high schools and junior colleges should be interested in complet- ing their education in the short- est possible time. The church stands in dire need of active young members prepared to grow into leadership in the Lord's work all over the world. LIPSCOMB successfully initiated year-round education with a full fourth quarter opening in June, 1962. More than 100 first-term fresh- men enrolled in programs that will permit them to graduate in june, 1965. Hereafter, freshman classes will begin in june and September each year. Commencements will be held in June and August. Junior college graduates also save time by be- ginning their senior college work at Lipscomb in June instead of September. Few young peo- ple can find summer employment that will re- ward them as well as will completion of a quarter's work in college. Students planning to study in professional or graduate schools after receiving the B.S. or B.A. degree will benefit from year-round education by thus shortening their overall period of preparation. Lipscomb offers pre-professional training in many fields and has awarded B.A. or B.S. degrees to nearly 2000 men and women majoring in 24 different areas of study since 1948. President Athens Clay Pullias has presented nearly 2000 degree certificates to Lipscomb graduates maioring in 24 different fields of study since the first senior college class was graduated in l948. BOARDING STUDENTS HAVE A DEFI- NITE ADVANTAGE IN FOURTH QUARTER STUDY. By beginning their studies in Iune and making a satisfactory record in the summer quarter, they are guaranteed choice dormitory space for the more crowded fall quarter, since they will be permitted to retain the rooms as- signed for the summer. , YOU HAVE BEGUN YOUR EDUCATION IN A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL which recognizes the importance of Bible study as preparation for any life work.
