N W U IFORMS DREAM COME TRUE Frustration, fatigue, weary bones, and lassitude are merely words describing the MA Academy Band Students after a long, hard practice session. These many strenuous practices brought forth considerable rewards including performing for state playoffs at Springwood, ten best band members performing in the Honor Band, and of course their magnificient appearances on the field at halftime. As the year began band members be- came overvvrought with the idea of new uniforms wherefore in Novem- ber those long awaited dreams be- came a reality. At the conclusion of a prominent sea- son, we say Thank You, Band, for a unique and enjoyable year. 1st, jinnie Webster, Debbie Dykes, Dawn Sharpe, jane Rainer, Sharon Moore. 2nd, Leah Segrest, Guy Whatley, j.H.
