With much enthusiasm and per- sistence the team regained their weakened confidence after their run away victory against the Lee Acad- emy Generals on April 9. The Knights battled it out and came out on top both times against Lee, the most sig- nificant dual ending in a 23-12 score with MA ahead. The students, teachers, and friends of MA must also be commended for their perpetual optimistic spirit and loyalty to the team. No matter what the circumstances, the good ole' MA togetherness was constantly beaming through. Even though the advantage of getting out of class at 1:00 on most days encouraged the attendance, it proved to be a profitable advantage when the larger numbers of students stayed after school hours to support the Knights. We give recognition to the cheerleaders for their voluntary assistance at the gates preceeding each home game.
