Foote LL ANQU ET ENDS SEASON The conclusive event of the 74 foot- ball season was the presentation of outstanding awards at the annual football banquet in November. Senior lere Graham was the recipient of the Most Valuable Player Award, in addi- tion to his being named Best Offen- sive Back of the Year. Frank Smith, se- nior, was chosen Best Offensive Lineman and shared the title of co- captain with fellow teammate Darry Kilpatrick. Those achieving defensive titles were juniors lack johnson and Robert Rutherford. lack was chosen Best Defensive Lineman. Robert won two outstanding awards, Best Defen- sive Back and the Scholastic Award. 47

Their coach, Coach Sullens, worked and trained them diligently. Each boy gave the team many hours of hard work, sweat and cooperation. Al- though the lr.
