We See Thru Christ Although Christmas is a time for fun, laughter, and gifts, it is also a time for silent moments, quiet con- templation, love, and forgiveness. Religious Emphasis Week pointed out to MA students this important, but often forgotten meaning. The Student Council who sponsored this event strived to show the reli- gious side of Christmas in the vari- ous activities they planned. Each morning the Bible class gave a significant devotional over the in- tercom during homeroom. The' as- sembly programs were the mix- tures of group singing, emphasizing togetherness, prayer, and silent rejoicing. i Q jamie Howard shows her Christmas spirit as she carefully places her class ornament on the tree. These Spanish students seem quite amused by Mrs. Forrers' futile efforts to burst the pihata. Proud mothers and teachers look on as Santa pays a visit to the second grade class. 30 l m 1.
