CREATING A DREAM TOGETHER As the sparkling water began to lap over the unique hand-made water- wheel, the juniors relaxed as the 1974 Prom began. This was the moment the juniors had worked through nights and many a Saturday, in the gym, to bring into reality. The ivy and flower-covered bridge crossing over a stream of clear bubbl- ing water made a romantic setting for the junior and Senior girls to meet their escorts as the band, Americana Showman, played Bridge Over Trou- bled Water. A white foamy fountain with a moss- covered dome adorned the gym floor as the students danced wildly around it. For cooling thirst, a decorative re- freshment stand was found across the dance floor. 17
