Jensen, head of fhe Conservafory of Music. An oufgrowfh of fhe old chorus founded by Professor Harry E. Philips, former direcfor of fhe music deparfmenf, fhe choir has become a regular classroom acfivify. Selecfion of members is by individual fryouf. The choir holds fhree rehearsals each weelc, fwo of which are for fhe enfire ensemble, fhe ofher being devofed fo secfional pracfice. Presenf membership includes 45 voices. The college granfs fwo credifs for a year's parficipafion in fhe work of fhe organizafion. The choir presenfs a number of Sunday evening concerfs in Twin Cify churches and in fowns fhroughouf fhe sfafe. Among fhe places visifed in 1935 were Farmingfon, Sf. Paul Parlc, Manlcafo, Rochesfer, and Hopkins. lf is cusfomary for fhe choir fo sing af Baccalaureafe Day services and Commencemenf exercises, as well as on ofher special college occasions. This year fhe group assisfed in fhe celebrafion of Macalesfer's fiffiefh anniversary.
