Or perchance in a more seri- ous mood, we mighT once more Teel The awe and wonder wiTh which we creaTed beauTiTul picTures oT Biblical characTers in The Religious Drama Class wiTh drapes OT cloTh and sheeTs. BuT harlcen-The sTrains of Mendelssohn Tall upon our ear and lo- before our menTal eye, whiTe clad Tigures are moving slowly, rhyThmic- ally. To The music--now posing, now slowly moving on again. Decorafed wiTh iTs hosT oT beauTiful picfures, orienfal rugs, poTTery, sTaTues, books, and oTher quainT and inTeresTing collecTions, The very room reflecTs The masTer who de- signed IT. The very presence of Miss Whifridge is felf in every obiecf in The room and Togefher They casT a spell of recepfive Thoughffulness which moves us To siT quiefly and mediTaTe on by-gone hours spenT among Them. As we siT here in This mood, our memory brings To us Those freshman hours spenT here in weak-kneed agony when sighing like a furnace we gasped The lines of Ozymandius and BeauTious Evening.
