3 s an -mms ADVENTURES Many Lynbrook students occupy their time in other ways than always hitting the books. Quite a few take Wvfk Permits in hand and head out looking for some sort of job. This keeps some of 'em busy and lets many of them earn money for the big up-coming weekend or the entrance to the well-known raver located somewhere on Pierce. Others hang out at the local 7-Eleven or get some grub at Burger King before seeing Pee Wee's Big Adventure for the third time. Even though many of our fellow students do these things, others attend the Lynbrook sporting events and student body functions, or exercise their jaws on the phone for hours, with their buds or favorite admirer listening 1-Mark Dunker, Lee Gumby, and Scott Shawver smiling at the girl outside the store window at Bresler's . . . or are they? . . . or are they? 2-l say Steve Rathman, you look as if it were a hard job. 18 Jobs and Hangouts S P on the other end. Some of the stu- dent body do these things, but they also can be found going out to din- ner with mom and dad, sitting at home playing computer games with some good friends, browsing through Vallco, or crankin' their fa- vorite tunes through some head- phones and dancing to the beat. Let's not forget the few who head to the beach to soak up some rays and ride the waves and those who kick back at their house watching Leave it to Beaver . Yes, most of our fellow L ynbrook students have devised di- versified ways of spending their spare time, but in most cases, it is spent in ways that will reassure us that our high school years are the best years of our lives.
