Special emphasis has been placed on teaching employable skills, such as typing and shorthand. The Work Experience Program has enabled students to work during school hours and, at the same time, receive credits for hours spent on the job. The individualizing of instruction has given each student a chance to work at his own pace and to study in the areas which he feels he is most deficient. The new research cen- ter enables a student to leave the classroom and listen to taped material without dis- turbance. Objectives, clearly stated in each unit, make known to the students exactly what is expected of them.
