ALICE LUCILE K1zEn Al Alice completed her secondary school course in Lynbrook High School, coming here in 1934. She immediately established her- self as a member of the Archery Club, remaining in the group throughout her senior year, when she also joined the Skating Club. Alnienne School of Dramatic Arts FLORENCE E. KLEESPIES Belly Betty is another of our girl athletes. She played field hockey and girls' intramural basketball. She went out for girls' track for two seasons, and was a member of the Swimming Club and of the Girls' Skating Club. Nurse ELIZABETH D. KLOBUS Belly Betty was active in the athletic line as a member of the girls' track team and sugported the seniors on the girls' Class Night basket- ball team. he came to Lynbrook High School in 1934 from the neighboring school, Sewanhaka. Business Hank FRANK H. KNOLL, JR. During his three years at this school, Frank made progress in track, intramural basketball, and bowling. ln junior and senior years he became established in the Hi-Y and Ping Pong Clubs, serving also as a member of the band. Rensselaer EI ELLA A. KOZICH In after school hours, Ella was partial to the Glee Club, the Ping Pong Club and intramural basketball, in 1934. In the next two years she developed a special apt.itude for bowling, which placed her on the varsity team. Business l23 I

um it-A Bob Big Hearted Herbert of the Senior Pla , Bob appeared also in the Junior Play and The Mikado. lile was prominent in Chess, Archery, Ping Pong, Riding, Fencing, Dramatic and Glee Clubs, as well as Associate Editor of The Owl. Undecided Bill Bill came to Lynbrook from East Rockaway Junior High School in 1933. In that year and in the next, his endeavors made him a part of the intramural basketball squad, and in time, of the boxing and ping pong groups. Business CCourt Slenographerl Mim Mim helped on various Class Night committees dining high school. For two years she served on the refreshment committee, and in her junior year on the checking committee. She also went out for hiking in her freshman and junior years. Business Ronan Cnmsrm KARPEN WILLIAM W. KASOLD MIRIAM G. KATZENSTEIN WARD KELLEY Shaun Ward played intramural football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of the Dramatic Club, Chess Club, Boys' Hi-Y, Athletic Council, Ping Pong Club, and Class Night cheerleading slgluad. He gave fine performances in both the Junior and Senior lays. College CARLYN KIMBALL Carrie Carrie did some outstanding work in her commercial course, entering the competition for Bookkeeping I at Hempstead in 1935. After school she gave much attention to the Glee Club, interclass basketball, track, and the Bicycle Club. Privale Secretary l 27 I

Dot Hiking, track and intramural tennis were the sports which attracted Dot while she was in high school: the Hi-Y and Glee Clubs also received their share of attention. Her favorite study was the Home Economics course which included sewing. Commercial Art Battleship ROBERT J. Kasussan Battleship is a lit name for one who was able to take an active interest in such sports as football, boxing, bowling, and trackg such clubs as the i-Y, Science and Dramatic, and on top of that, the Junior Play and the band. Dartmouth Eddie EDWARD KRIEGSHABER For his last two years Eddie was a pillar of the boys' varsity tennis team. He was also active in the intramural program, playing football, basketball, and baseball, and was a member of the Science Club and Ping Pong. Undecided Doms JUDY KRAFT Lois E. KHUM K rummie Lois served her class very capably as a member of the ring com- mittee. She also helped on several Class Night committees. She played varsity basketball for two years and proved a promi- nent factor in the girls' Glee Club for three years. Business Doms M. KUNz Dottie In '32 Dottie was content to march with the Hiking Club, but in '33, '34, and '35 she preferred cavalry tactics with the Riding Club. Intramural basketball,the Leaders' Corps, and the Girls' Golf Club also occupied her spare time. Business I29 1
