RoRER'r HUMPHREY Bob To Lynbrook students, Bob was well known as varsity football manager, cheerleader and member of the intramural basketball and baseball teams. His social interests found an outlet in Hi-Y, Dramatic Club, Chess Club and in active work as publicity agent for the Senior Play. College BRADFORD ILSLEY Brad Most energetic as a cheerleader, Brad also satisfied a sporting interest with hockey and track. In his senior year he joined the Hi-Y Club, became sports editor of the yearbook, and took part in the Senior Play. Undecided EDNA .IELLEY Eddlk: Edna transferred from East Rockaway Junior High School in 1933. Here she completed her academic course, showing parti- ality for such languages as Latin and German. In connection with the Dramatic Club she appeared in several assembly plays. Undecided Bill WILLIAM JOHNSTONE When Bill wasn't translating Latin, he sipent his time in athletws. He was a dependable factor in intramur baseball and basketball. Last Class Night he helped the seniors to victory in the basketball match. Tennis also interested him. Undecided Lot Lo'r'rE B. K. JUNGMEIER Lotte was a member of the varsity basketball, hockey, archery, and track teams. Phil PmLonvE HILLMAN Finding sports and clubs equally interesting, Phil divided her time accordingly. On the one hand, she became engaged in varsity basket all, hocke , and trackg while on the other hand, she worked with the I-Ii-J' and Glee Clubs. University of Chicago Ruthie RUTH HINCHLIFFE Ruth played in girls' varsity golf, intramural baseball, and intra- mural and Class Night basketball. She was a member of the Dramatic Club, having rendered a superb performance in The Ghost Train, the Junior Play. Business Nellie HELEN L. HOLMES Helen's athletic interests were confined to the Hiking and Bicycle Clubs. She lent her assistance to the class by working on Class Night committees, and when ping pongrzgttracted the interest of Lynbrook students, she was one of its t supporters. Undecided Bill Bill came to Lynbrook from East Rockaway Junior High School in 1933. In that year and in the next, his endeavors made him a part of the intramural basketball squad, and in time, of the boxing and ping pong groups. Business CCourt Slenographerl Mim Mim helped on various Class Night committees dining high school. For two years she served on the refreshment committee, and in her junior year on the checking committee. She also went out for hiking in her freshman and junior years. Business Ronan Cnmsrm KARPEN WILLIAM W. KASOLD MIRIAM G. KATZENSTEIN WARD KELLEY Shaun Ward played intramural football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of the Dramatic Club, Chess Club, Boys' Hi-Y, Athletic Council, Ping Pong Club, and Class Night cheerleading slgluad. He gave fine performances in both the Junior and Senior lays. College CARLYN KIMBALL Carrie Carrie did some outstanding work in her commercial course, entering the competition for Bookkeeping I at Hempstead in 1935.
