In layman's terms, a gathering where close friends share their spirits and feelings with one another. The class of 1987 hos token the meaning of celebra- tion and raised it to new heights. Almost all teachers are involved in extra- curricular activities in addition to teaching five or six classes a day. They are called many different things throughout the average school day: advisor, coach, director, counselor, monitors, and some unprintable things as well! Only time will tell if they leorn to balance between studying ond celebrating. 49 Freshmen: Gerring rhe hang of ir! The freshmen year brings new challenges and opportunities. You're the big” boys and girls of the junior high and you finally get to participate in some of the senior high activities. There is the challenge of trying to figure out algebra and the sheer terror, for a lucky few, of the first time behind the wheel in driver's ed. All in all it is a pretty exciting yeor with more 1.
