GIDUUIDS We work for both the school and the community. Two gears that keep the South ma- chine running smoothly are the Hon- or Society and Student Council. Some activities that Honor Society lead are collecting goods for the pris- oners in the city jail, tutoring under- classmen, collecting money for diabe- tes, bake sales and sponsoring a Vol- leyball Marathon. Student Council meets once a week and discusses up- coming business. Just one activity they participate in is planning dances. A Christmas dance planned by Student Council was well-re- ceived. Instead of having a Queen or King, that was omitted and in its place a pandomime by Religious Dra- ma class was performed. 35? is ff?
