STUDE T COUNCIL This year's Student Council will probably be con- sidered one ot the busiest in SOLJTH's history. Be- sides the everyday services which the Student Council ottered the student body, many special projects were carried out. Perhaps the most im- portant ot these was the ratification on oi con- stitution, the need ot which has been felt since Student Council was begun. Other projects which the Student Council sponsored were several ex- . change days, participation in Synod's Faith For- Q., ward program, an all school social, and a citi- zenship week. In forty-year-old churches, such as this, rural Negro congregations in Alabama gathered together to worship on Sunday mornings-that is un- til SOUTH, under Student Councills leadership, joined the other Lutheran high schools in the Faith Forward project to raise 550,000 for new churches and schools.
