' ' Ti F0llWAllD The 1959 Appendix is published for the purpose of captivating the atmosphere of the Lutheran Hospital and Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, Fort Wayne, Indiana. We the staff, want to present a theme which covers 3 areas summarized in this book, The People We Meet, The Way We Learn, and The Things We Do. The Lutheran Hospital was first built in 1902 and the school of nurs- ing was begun in 1904. This year's class will be the 52 graduating class. Our gratitude, as students, is expressed to the many people through the years who, directly and indirectly, have contributed to our learning experiences. 2
