The school of nursing pin, below, embraces
and combines the Greek cross, rose, wreath,
open book and the letters f,.ll.S.N.
The cross, in red, is the symbol of unselfish
service and love of one's fellow, and it is the
emblem for relief of the sick and Awounded.
The Hose, in gold, signifies the Goodness of
Cod and is indicative of Messianic promise
and human love.
The triobate lotus wreath is representative of
esteem, honor, and merit.
The open book signifies the Word of God.
The letters L.ll.S.N. represent the Lutheran
Hospital School of Nursing.
I could sail the waters of all the world, Bitter
and wide and blue,
And never I'd find friends to love,
Like the friends l've found in you.
I could travel the millions of miles on earth,
And walk down its roads forever,
And never l'd find friends like you,
Never, never, never.
