T x members of the student council are: from left to right, seated: herb steger, sandy carrico, elaine Vogel, bill mattsson, larry bielenberg, karen stinson, karalee steyer, bob leffingwell. stand- ing: terry stute, marilyn schuldt, lynda alleman, denny armstrong, i, d. trenda, amanda zeisler, connie mate, nathan schulz. the congress of lutheran high could be but another name for our student council. this representative body is one of the main causes for the smooth operation of l.h.s. each homeroom selects a person and one alternate to act in their stead. the student body, as a whole, votes on the president, vice president, secre- tary, and treasurer of the student council to act as the officiating body of this congress or council. two school recreational activities are sponsored year- ly for promoting better fellowship among students. the council is the bridge between the students and faculty here at lutheran. with an ambition all her own, elaine Vogel has proved to be a most zealous worker for us students for the past two years, she has been our own student council secretary, and more than capabty fulfilling her office. karen stinson has taken on the re- sponsibility cf council treasurer with much enthusiasm. it was indeed a wise choice when she was elected to take over the financial Lcusines cf the student body. john e. watson wedding photographers 2929 west florence, los angeles
