Students have been taught the funda- mentals of acting. directing. and backstage techniques. t'Do your part well. there all the honor lieth. Actors and actresses who have done meritorious work in the lield of dramatic arts were inducted into the National Thespian Society at a candlelight ceremony. Coach Leimer, the club has increased since last year from a mere eight to the grand total of 31 members. They are allowed two socials a year and initiate all new members at an athletic banquet held each spring. To the peppy rhythm of the band. the five majorettes twirl their flashing liatons. White satin uniforms lined in maroon and trimmed with gold braid present a colorful picture for performances. The Spring Band Concert and the Clean-l'p Parade con- stitute the main performances of the year for the majorettes. but they are also applauded for their twirling between halves at basketball games. Whenever you feel like letting off steam on any subject. just drop in at the cafeteria some day when the Toastmasters' Club is in session. Every one of the members of this club has the oppor- tunity to express his views. Since this club was formed around the idea of after dinner speeches, the Toastmasters have a dinner to speak after, usually consisting of some small refreshment. When everyone is content, the talking begins. Row l.' Mr. Walwick, P. Richterkessing, C. Litlin, E. Feucht, W. Schaefer. j. Krahn, R. Kunz, M. Latsch, E. Ehlers. Row 2: j. Case, 7 ' M. Borgfeld. R.
