Since this time we have been privileged to attend the Sunday night services of the First Baptist Church where we sang two of our numbers of the more spiritual nature. As to our future plans, we are to perform a Christmas Concert on December 14 in cooperation with the Junior High School choral group, also under the direction of our own Mr. Pressley.

They performed at most of the football games, marched in several parades, and repre- sented Lumberton during Band Day at the University of North Carolina The band has been represented by the following officers: Winnie Buchanan, Captain, Trina Pittman, senior representative, Mackie Mc- Intyre, junior representativeg Albert Stephenson, sophomore represent- ativeg Linda Atkinson, freshman representative, Johnny Farmer, junior high representativeg and Llewlee Livermore as recording secretary.

Saturday night Canteen in the Pirates Cove, after ball-game dances, social activities, and special events are in- cluded within the schedule of teen functions. Officers of the 1961-62 Junior Recreation Council were: Kip Page, Presidentg Trina Pittman, Vice President, Joe Dietzel, Treasurer, Donna Stephens, Secretary, and Mr. Bill Sapp, Advisor.
