OUR FUTURE iff Right now we are going to try to Imagine what the old town will look like ten years from now We are going to roam through our town and see If we see any of the grads of 54 Down on Oak Street we see that theres a new office building Lets look at the office directory and see nf any of them are here Right at the top of the lust we see the name of Russ Anderson who has set up a very profitable medical practice and who is very ably assisted un his chores by Bntha Hanlon DsC his nurse but who unexplamably has been interested an the funeral parlor downstairs Next on the lust we see Albert Fords name under the banner of the Fords Finer Pharmacy Al is reputed to have the best most complete pharmacy in the north of Kentucky Down on the ground fioor again we see a neat dignified sign over a door It says Don Digger Donlnns Little Mortuary Below this as a motto If Anderson cant prescribe for it and Ford cant fill ut call Donlm Ill bet Don makes a million too On the sublect of drug stores we hear that Joy Salmon is giving Al fits now by stealing all of his customers away to Brown s Better Pharmacy In which While we are wandering around we might as well saunter down to the old school house and see if there ns any of the 54s around there Who is this big long lanky figure wandering dawn the halls toward us is it Mr Tipton? Why no nts Gary Lukey who has taken over Mr Tnptons old duties as the head of the math department of L H S and domg quite well too Up In the office we spy none other than our old classmate Marge Denham who has inherited the title of dean of gurls from Miss Reynolds she also teaches English and History Mr Dlcken left L H S a few years ago and placed has duties as Annual sponsor and chemistry and physics teacher upon the capable shoulders of Don Woolley Down In the grades we find Lois Moak teaching the third grade their arithmetic and spelling and history They say shes a swell teacher except that she yells too loud Over at the old Rlgney Stadium we find Coach Joe Daley now mentor of the Ludlow eleven running his boys through a little drill The story as that he has the hottest prospects ln the state this year Ruth Klener has some hot prospects this year too for the first time since she has taken over as womens athletic director at old L H S They say she has finally got a team that can beat the Bellevue G A A lContlnuedD I , . . , I . i . . . . .
