pnqr flzrrlrl THE REVIEW l94l CLASS HISTORY In the turbulent years of 1037 and 1038 delegates met at the round table to drscuss the future polrcres of the four vear conference at Ludlow Hrgh School Shortly after they rlected th Big Four who were president Dorothy Mrlroy vice president Eleanor Carmell t lllarrlvn Munsrng and treasurer Rita Bourgeois Amidst all the business be me carrred on there was a pause for a social gather ng a Freshmen Day during whreh all political troubles for rntrrguesj were forgotten Affair were getting darker and gloomrer as the delegates plunged into more lrflicult frsks However wrth the help of new polrtrcal officers CPresrdent, Edward Trus7 Vree rr s dnnt Roy I'IlQlSCl1B Secretarv Mar lyn Munsrng and Treasurer Rrta Bourgeorsl the delegates met some of then arms rn the year of 10381939 To get them into the rrght mood they held a Sophomore Party at which the members enjoyed dancing and refreshments On September 6 1939 the delegates m t early rn order to carry out all the rmportant r sues b fore them After electing Ronald Young as president Ravrnond Davis as yrce presrd nt Marrlvn Munsrng as secretary and Gladys Duda as treasurer the delegates par trcrpated rn the Maroon and Whrte Fall Frolrc the annual Junlor Dance After such a gra that held them together rn the world of grow ng disturbance Then came the memora hln d'rv Ium 7 1940 the night of the Junior Promenade It was the last social affair of the year before the return rn the next fall when other rmportant matters aw arted them It was a sad and warring world that confronted the delegates when they met for the la t session of then four year conference at the Ludlow Hrgh School 1040 1041 wlll be a year well remembered The Brg Four President Ronald Young Vrce presrdent Mitch ell Kr as Secretary Marilyn Munsrng and Treasurer Gladys Duda posted October 24 1040 a the day of the Senror Dance Soon came the task of putting out the Year Book a last rug remembrance of the representatives rn the Pan American Unron The Junior agent paid trrbute to the Senror representatives at the Junror Promenade Trme passed swrftly and soon we were planting the rvy a tradrtronal practrce Then came Class Nrght where we re Lxamrmd the lrfe and hrstory of all the delegates To soften the sad feeling of de parture after four years of hard work and enjoy ment a banquet was held where the re resentatrxes tossed 'rll cares to the four winds and gave vent to all the Joy they had held wrtlr n them for years Then came the saddest day of all the day when the representatives would part neyer to cross each other s paths agarn rn some cases never to share the troubles which the lad bor re tog ther through four years never to enyoy the company of the same one hun dred and tw ntyr delegates at a socral gathering At this last significant meetrng before the unron dissolved many delegates were presented wrth awards for outstanding achievement n carrying out rmportant rssues through the long conference Medals of merit w ere also drs tributed to members worthy of them Thus drd the one hundred and twenty delegates part brddrng 1 last fond farewell to foul years of the happiest days they had ever spent IN MEMORIAIVI He was belored by all In memory of Frank Bonsrewrcz who dred January '31 1940 There rs a lrnk death cannot seyer Ifr endshrp and remembrance last forever . , ' ' ,A .- ' .
