X U R The Student Council of Lubbock High School About ten years ago a group of teachers began investigations on a student representative body, and after much research, the Student Council of Lubbock High School was organized. It acts in an advisory capacity, voicing the ideas of the student body. The Student Council initiates many splendid movements. Among them this year was the sale of tuberculosis bangles. The council went over the top with S108.76. Other activities of the council are: sponsoring pep rallies, sponsoring the all-school dance, decorating the halls for Christmas, and sponsoring the war bond sales.
