The Mass on the Holy Spirit is one of Loyola ' s most enduring traditions. Held in the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, it allows the universi- ty community a chance to unite and give thanks for another year of qual- ity Catholic education in the south. According to many, it is the best way to get the school year off to a good start. After the ceremony, a boxed lunch picnic was sponsored by Campus Ministry in the Activities Quad. It provided a relaxed setting as the many faculty, staff and students in attendence chatted about plans for the coming school year.
