Heard singing at the Holiday Varieties of the Fall Term of '52 was the Lowell High Choir. Under the direction of Mr. Berry, they did a swell job. Such outstanding members as Suezane Card- inal and Bob Thein did solo work for the Choir and other school affairs. Besides singing at the Varieties, the vocalists ot Lowell sang, as always, at the graduation. The choir was the guest artist trom Lowell at the Emporium one evening near Christmas. They brought a fine name back to Lowell. The Advanced Girls Glee Club under Mr. Berry has worked hard and sung at several affairs. The Dance Band, led by Gil Sciacqua, played at many ot the school attairs as well as outside ot Lowell. Four evenings this year, the Dance Band gave their time to entertain the psychiatric patients at Letterman General Hospital. The Dance Band has lost many ot their old musicians in graduation this year. Among them are Darrel Bloom, sax, Kent Lundgren, trum- pet, Ed Cholewa, sax, Curt Culver, trombone, and the star drummer, Brad Burke. The Dance Band is a strictly student-run organization and is very proud ot this tact. DANCE BAND FIRST ROW--V. Hebert, J. Frease, D. Polissar, G. Sciacgua, A. Johnson, B. Potter, P. Gebhard.
