Individualit Enchances Fashion l Sweaters, boots, and dress slacks are displayed by Caryn Ford, Donna Simmons, and Teresa Perlinger. Individuality sparked the fashion trends throughout Loveland High School this past year. Blended together with the ever-popular denims and cords were Qiana knit dresses and the Annie Hall Look . Sported by many were the three piece suits, hiking boots and the layered look. Disco danskins were prevalent at many social functions. Boots or spike- heeled sandals went well with either wool skirts or denim straight legs. Also noted were the hair styles, everything from the Farrah look to precision cuts. L.H.S. fashions may not have come straight from Vogue, but the styles worn became very popular around school. L.H.S. became a trend setter of its very own. tg 5.54 vm . ' . L f,,- gil.:- g... At leftg Much thought and fast action are needed to decide where to sit before the bleachers fill up at a pep assembly. Spirits Run High Apathy abounded at the first pep as- semblies of the school year. Cheer- leaders were discouraged and adminis- trators displeased. So much so that for a time assemblies were cancelled. As the year progressed, however, the pep assemblies returned and spirits ran higher than ever before. With the intro- duction of team cheers, the students be- came more involved and willing to show off their energy, Along with new ideas brought about by students and organi- zations, much enthusiasm was created. Such special events like the KIMN Chicken appearing at a noon pep as- sembly, and the senior boys strutting through the gym in togas lead to greater spirit. Student participation had become the dominant factor in the pep assemblies which helped them serve their purpose of having fun and supporting the L'H'S' athletic department' Martin exhibits her spirit for the senior class.
