HARRISON Treasurer Kappa Delta Pi is a national honorary society for the teachers of tomorrow, which has as its purposes the encour- agement of high scholastic and intellectual standards and the recognition of outstanding contributions to education. Member^, sdected on the basis of scholarship and charac- ter, are chosen from the upper portion of the junior and senior classes in the College of Education. Monthly meetings are highlighted by various speakers and discussion groups aimed at attempting to untangle the many problems and questions which arise in the teaching profession. Twice a year the members gather formally for a banquet and the initiation of new members into the society. KAPPA DELTA PI 79 ”
