Slave Auction As a traditional part of Louisburg College students life, the annual slave auction was again a great success. The purpose for this activity is to raise funds for the Christnnas formal. This years master of ceremonies was Hill- man ' s resident director J. P. Perry. Tony Droppleman, and Lloyd Jacobs took the show and the highest bid for this years slave auction. Parent ' s Day One of the most special and important events during the acedemic year at Louisburg College is Parent ' s Day. Par- ent ' s Day gives the student ' s mothers and fathers the opportunity to meet v ith teachers and discuss their sons and daughters progress in various courses. Al- ways a traditional treat is the meal served in the college cafeteria and the pleasure to hear Dr. Brov n, the Academ- ic Dean, speak encouraging v ords for both parents and students.
