Davis Davis, 3rd floor is where the men ' s basketball team lives. Conversation up there includes basketball, basketball and more basketball. All of the guys on the team grow very close; sort of like a big family. Go up there sometime and you ' ll hear the thud of a basketball being dribbled in the hall. ilff lli Franklin The most famous wards of Franklin live in the Franklin II Zoo. They change sheets hanging on their balcony like a neon sign attracting people to drop on in and set a spell. The Zoo even has T-shirts designed by their resident-ariisl house counselor, )im Hunt. |im McNeil, a resident of the Zoo, has written a song entitled (what else) The Zoo. The third verse and chorus are as follows: Now I ' m hopein you ' ll come and see me real soon, Even if you think that I ' m a loon. And if you haven ' t heard the latest as you usually do, I ' m living in Louisburg ' s Franklin II Zoo. Chorus. Spending my life in the Zoo, Spending m life in the Zoo, No matter what you say or do, I ' m spending my life in the Zoo. The Zoo has gained a sort of cult following. Of course there is a Franklin III. They ' re a crazy, bunch of fun-loving guys, too.
