This year the CTS were made up mostly of last years Ds and paced by captain Ted Purcell, they were a much improved ball club. They won two games and were never beaten by a large score in any one of their games. From the hghting spirit shown by the Cfs all dur- ing the season, they should turn out tn be a very good team in the years to come. nos BASKETBALL CD'sJ The DB this year, made up mostly of freshmen, won one practice game. as their captain. Cline Sipes, Henry Daw. Michael Luna, Ron I-lonza. and Dick Whiteaker made up the first team. but the whole team deserves a lot of credit, especialf ly after beating a strong Willoxx' Glen quintet. TROUBLE HOOTI-ERS were the Nurse's Office - Mrs. Owens. the school nurse, kept an accurate account of the health of the stu- dents. and she was con- sistently kept busy writ- ing health excuses in her nearly always crowded olhce. Hers indeed is an important duty. Attendance Office - A VVhatl You stayed home to mow the lawnln This was one of the fine ex- cuses Mrs, Morse receiv- ed in the new attendance office this year. Helped by several senior girls, Mrs. Morse wrote millions of absence excuses, replaced students' lost locker keys. and had great patience with those many students running in to look up some friends schedule in the student files. RED T A T Main Office - The head- quarters of the school, the main ofhce, was under the management of Miss De- neyi, Mr. Canrinus' sec- retary, and Miss lsichty. secretary to Mr. Brown. They were always busy with the business of the school and worked very hard to keep the system of our school running smoothly.
