A I A as n e to eithusiasmf' s state ent certainly fits the Iunior Class this year. For instance, the e ' r Pl , EVER SINCE EVE. was one of the best in recent years. The uniors also showed an abundance of enthusiasm in supporting our war '- effort. Many of the Iunior boys willingly contributed their cars, gas, and rub- A ber to collect scrap iron which we all know is so badly needed for the war effort. Incidentally, the Iuniors won the contest by collecting over ten tons of metal. The boys who so enthusiastically helped to win this contest are to be congratulated, also the girls who went along to keep their morale high. We are proud of the members of our class who are now fighting for Uncle Sam in numerous branches ot the service. All the success the Iuniors have enjoyed this year has been due to their enthusiasm, and you can count on that enthusiasm being stronger in our Senior year. me onc said Every worthwhile achievement in the history of man th n PETE RAPCOCK X
