A school does not grow and prosper without reason. Los Angeles High School could
not have become what it is today without the untiring effort and good leadership of gener-
ations of teachers. The students' direct contacts are with the faculty. and they feel the per-
sonal influence of the teachers. But hehind the faculty is the principal. who guides and
inspires them in their work. Tliercfore. the graduating classes of 1950. are happy to dedi-
