Aclivilies began in lhe morning wilh regisrralion. Miss Margarel Ray, lacully Homecoming chairman, supere vised The day's evenls. A special issue of lhe Blue and While Daily, lealuring arlicles aboul lhe alumni, was prepared lor lhe occasion. Several senior girls had charge ol a nursery in 249 for lhe children ol lhe alumni. A few graduales who spolce al The rally held in 'rhe audilorium were Joe Crail, presidenl ol lhe alumni, Mayor Flelcher Bowron, and Paul Elmguisl, cheerleader in W'24. The day was climaxed by a game lon l-loush Fieldl wilh Manual, which is one of Rome's earliesl Los Angeles rivals, Belween halves, several sludenls posed as alumni in a mock game. Dr. Paul Webb, former principal, and Mr. Reeves lem- porarily became wafer boys.
