Delta Sigma is a professional honorary society organized to commend and recog- nize those Who have acquired a high academic standard in their chosen professiong and to inspire the maintenance of this standard throughout the course of their pro- fessional careers. Delta Sigma was first organized at L.A.C.C. in 1951 and is one of three chapters in existence. To qualify for acceptance, a B average for each semester throughout the four years of college must be maintained. The Delta Sigma key is significant of the highest scholastic achievement acquired through perseverance, hard work, and concentration: and is always worn with par- donable pride.
