A 1 if r, .4 E ur rincqaa REVEREND THOMAS BICINICQHOLAS Principal 19-10- Catholic Girls' High School Dear Alumnae: The celebration of the Silver jubilee of Catholic Girls' High School is an occasion replete with joy. That joy is not confined to the administration, faculty, or student body, but is felt especially by the alumnae of our school. Since its opening day, Catholic Girls' High School has annually sent forth the flower of womanhood, who today have not only left their imprint on the City of the Angels, but who likewise have made themselves felt from the Pacific to the Atlantic. From its portals, large numbers have gone forth to labor as chosen handmaids in the vineyard of the Master, and thus have definitely demonstrated, that days spent within its hallowed walls were days spent for God. As there is no rose without a thorn, no road without a turn, so there is no earthly joy without a sorrow. That sorrow exists for Catholic Girls' High School because its founder, our leader, is no longer with us. The shepherd of the flock has left, but his memory and his noble deeds will ever live after him. So today, after twenty-tive years of noble endeavor and vision, his spiritual daughters return home to sing his praises, to recall his memory, and again pledge their loyalty to God and Country.
