iris, The aching Girls' Track Team triumphed. All members were enthusiastic about the past season. The talent came from all ranks. Dawn Turner. a running seniorg Alice Fabian, the jazzy juniorg Kathy McMillion. a super sophomoreg and Debbie Cox, a fleeting freshman, led the team through the season. Returning to the world of running was Karen Thomas. CIF champ in hurdles as a sophomore. Kristi Griffis in 220. and Evelyn Drummond who also participated in CIF competition. Coach Gomez believed in the girls, ability to go on to the championships. The true battle was against Ontario Christian. At the present, the team is off and running. 1 -H---U-1 .. 'X ' as 1.
